M.Sc. Technology By Research In Computer Science And Technology

• Full-Time - 18 Months.
• Part-Time - 24 Months.

Eligibility & requirements:

Candidates who satisfy the following two conditions are eligible to seek provisional registration for M.Sc. Technology by Research:

The candidate should get a sponsorship or a fellowship by any external agency or University or should have a self supporting arrangement and should work on the research problem as a full time research scholar for a duration of 18 months

Or

The candidate should have regular employment and his/her area of proposed research should correspond to his/her profession(job).

OR

The candidate should have been hired by a research investigator as a full time Project Assistant/ JRF/SRF on a research project of at least 18 months duration. Such a candidate should get a suitable fellowship or salary. The candidate should work in the area of research project itself for his/her degree.

OR

A regularly employed person who can do only part time research has to put in at least 24 months towards the course.

For the candidate to register for M.Sc. Technology by Research in Computer Science and Technology, he/ she should have passed in any of the following examinations of the University with an overall minimum of 50%:

M.Sc.(Computer Science/ Information Science Software and related subjects) / M.Sc.(Electronics)   MCA, BE / B.Tech.,. B.S.(4 years) (Electrical Science, Computer Sciences, Electronics & Communication, Electrical and Instrumentation).

M.Sc. (Physics ), M.Sc. (Mathematics), M.Sc (Statistics), B.E / B.Tech., B.S.(in any other branch of Engg.). Provided such candidates have worked on computer at least for two full years in their professional career in recognized  R& D institutions, industries, educational institutions imparting purely formal programs in Computer Science / Information Science.

Prat - time candidates referred to above have to put in a minimum of 15 days attendance every half year in the Department concerned.
