The University of Mysore, a venerable institution that provides quality education to over 56,000 students, recognizes the Indo-American Research Centre. The Indo-American Research Centre adheres to the highest standards as mandated by the University.
Ably chaired and guided by Prof. M. Gopalakrishna Reddy, former Vice-chancellor of Andhra University and Economist of repute, the research centre guides scholars in producing research of exemplary standards, relevance and comprehensiveness.
Prof.C.V. Seshachalapati, Director of the centre, was the former Head of the Department of Statistics, Andhra University. With a teaching experience of 36 years, he has behind him the authorship of several seminal papers on statistical theory and application, and vast experience as a guide to scholars in fields as diverse as Anthropology, Geology, Botany and Economics among others. He has authored three books on Statistics.
The centre is proud to have among its alumni, distinguished scholars and scientists of national and international repute.
The vision of its founder, Mr.V.Pujari, of a world bettered by the dissemination and judicious application of knowledge, is the guiding philosophy of all the activities of the centre.
Infrastructure.
The centre has a vast library with over 3000 books on all areas of knowledge; a computer lab that is able to accommodate 120 users and air-conditioned classrooms. The centre also has advanced software for statistical modeling, mathematical equations and other complex formulae.
Set in salubrious surroundings, the centre provides all facilities to cater to the needs of rigorous scholarship.
